Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Aurora Study OS (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be old enough to form a binding contract, or have a parent or guardian’s consent if you are a minor. By using the Service you confirm the information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.

3. Subscriptions & billing

• Aurora offers a free tier and a paid Pro plan billed $7.99 per month through Stripe.
• Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled.
• You can cancel anytime from Settings; access continues until the end of the current paid period.
• Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable for partial periods.
• Prices may change with reasonable advance notice.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose;
• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access;
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission;
• Abuse invite codes or attempt to circumvent plan limits.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the study data you enter. You grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to operate the Service for you.

6. Academic disclaimer

Aurora’s calculators, study plans, and the AI Study Coach are provided for guidance only. Grading rules vary by school and change over time. Always verify results with your institution. We are not responsible for academic decisions made based on the Service.

7. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Features may change or be discontinued.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, and our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
